Bill Pascrell III

With a prominent career in state and federal public affairs, William “Bill” Pascrell, III, is a lobbyist with Princeton Public Affairs Group. In the gaming sector, he has been a lawyer, strategic advisor, and consultant throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and more. Pascrell led the successful campaign to legalize sports betting in the United States, culminating with the repeal of PASPA by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2018. Most notably, he led a successful campaign to pass the first-in-the-nation Online Gaming Act in New Jersey. He worked to develop the regulatory regime put in force before launch. Pascrell is a member of the bar in Washington, D.C., and New Jersey and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court. He was recently chosen to serve as Counsel to New Jersey Governor Murphy’s Transition Team and has been the Passaic County Counsel since his unanimous appointment in 1998. Pascrell is also a member of the National Council of Problem Gambling Federal Affairs Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for the New Jersey Community Development Corporation, Habitat for Humanity, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the United Way of Passaic County. He serves as Founder, Board Member, and Faculty of the Seton Hall University Law School’s Gaming, Compliance & Integrity Bootcamp, a Trustee for GVC Foundation US, and a member of Betegy’s Supervisory Board of Directors.
