Joel Kotkin
Joel Kotkin is an internationally recognized authority on global, economic, political, and social trends. Named “America’s uber-geographer” by the New York Times, Kotkin studies the history and future of cities. He is the executive director of the Urban Reform Institute and the author of several books, including “The Human City: Urbanism for the Rest of Us” and most recently “The Coming of Neo-Feudalism: A Warning to the Global Middle Class.” Over the past decade, Kotkin examined several major cities, including London, Mumbai, New York, Los Angeles, and Houston. He is a fellow at Chapman University in Orange, California.
