Like the rest of the nation, funding for transportation in Colorado is at a crossroads. Our primary source of funding, the gas tax, hasn’t increased in over 20 years(neither the federal gas tax nor Colorados gas tax), and the recession eliminated General Fund investment by our Colorado Legislature in transportation in 2009.
