Open to Debate is in the midst of an exciting debate season, which includes a number of live events in New York and cities across the nation. The emergence of COVID-19 virus in the United States has sparked concern for many in our audience. In response, we have decided to cancel tomorrow evening’s debate on the motion, “Forgive Student Debt.” As such, if you have purchased a ticket to tomorrow evening’s debate, we will be refunding your purchase shortly.
Moving forward, we are closely monitoring all local, state, and federal guidelines surrounding public gatherings. While we plan to continue operating as a forum for robust public debate, we are taking steps to protect the health and safety of our audience and to follow all guidelines around live events. But not to worry! As always, you can tune into any of our debates online at OpentoDebate.org, on our YouTube channel, or by subscribing to the Open to Debate podcast.
We will be in touch soon and remain committed to bringing you informed, reasoned debate on the issues that shape our day.
Thank you,
Clea Conner
CEO, Open to Debate
