Over 1,000 companies are pulling their advertisements from Facebook and its subsidiaries, including Instagram. With 99% of Facebook’s revenue coming from ad sales, what could this boycott mean for the social media giant?

Last year, Facebook raked in almost $70 billion in ad sales, and is expected to report $77.1 billion in revenue in 2020.
