Open to Debate Wins Adweek Podcast Award for China COVID Debate

Today, Adweek announced that nonpartisan debate podcast Open to Debate has won their Podcast of the Year Award for “Best Podcast Event.” The winning episode debated the motion “Coronavirus Will Reshape the World Order in China’s Favor” and marked the nonprofit’s third virtual debate following the shutdown of in-person events this spring.

The award continues a recent streak of wins for Open to Debate Their debate “The Electoral College Has Outlived Its Usefulness” just won three W3 Awards this month and earlier in the year the nonprofit won two Telly Awards for their episode on “The Techonomic Cold War with China.” Their latest episode, just out, debates the motion “The Senate Should Confirm Amy Coney Barrett.”

This Friday evening, Open to Debate continues their series with a debate on the motion “A U.S.-China Space Race Is Good for Humanity,” presented in partnership with Bloomberg Television.
