Matt Taibbi

Matt Taibbi is a journalist and best-selling author of ten books, including four New York Times bestsellers such as “Hate, Inc.”, “The Divide,” and “Insane Clown President”. Taibbi is currently the publisher of the Racket News Substack. He was previously a contributing editor for Rolling Stone and winner of the 2008 National Magazine Award for columns and commentary. Taibbi made headlines for breaking the news of the Twitter Files—a set of internal Twitter documents—in a riveting investigative series on the platform itself from 2022 to 2023. Taibbi began his career in the former Soviet Union, where he wrote in English and in Russian for more than ten years for papers like The Moscow Times, The eXile, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Trud, Stringer, and Kommersant.
