Jennifer Doleac
Jennifer Doleac is the executive vice president and directs the Criminal Justice program at Arnold Ventures. At Arnold Ventures, she works with the research, programmatic, and advocacy teams to support rigorous, policy-relevant research and turn the resulting insights into effective policy. She is the president of Doleac Initiatives, a non-profit that encompasses several ventures related to criminal justice research and policy, including the Justice Tech Lab and the Criminal Justice Expert Panel, and has over 15 years of experience as an academic economist. Her research has been supported by several governmental and philanthropic organizations and published in leading academic journals, including the Review of Economics and Statistics, the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, and the Economic Journal. Doleac also serves on the Board of Editors at the Journal of Economic Literature. She is the host of Probable Causation, a podcast about research related to crime and the criminal justice system. Doleac holds a Ph.D. in economics from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Williams College.
