Nina Jankowicz
Nina Jankowicz is an internationally recognized expert on disinformation and democratization and the author of “How to Lose the Information War” (Bloomsbury 2020) and “How to Be a Woman Online” (Bloomsbury 2022). From March to May 2022, Jankowicz served as the head of the Disinformation Governance Board of the United States Department of Homeland Security. Currently the Vice President at the UK-based Centre for Information Resilience, a social enterprise focused on countering disinformation, Jankowicz has advised governments, international organizations, and tech companies and testified before the US Congress, UK Parliament, and European Parliament. From 2017 to 2022, Jankowicz held fellowships at the Wilson Center, where she was affiliated with the Kennan Institute and the Science and Technology Innovation Program.
