Democratic donors were invited Wednesday to a debate over whether President Biden should step aside. The virtual event, hosted by Open to Debate, a nonpartisan organization, is scheduled for Thursday morning.

Dmitri Mehlhorn, a donor adviser to LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, who is working with outside groups to elect Biden, will argue the president should stay in the race, while Michelle Goldberg, a New York Times columnist, will argue Biden should step aside.

The debate will be moderated by John Donvan, an Emmy-winning journalist.
