Andrew Roberts
Andrew Roberts is an English popular historian, journalist, and a member of the House of Lords as Baron Roberts of Belgravia. He is also the Roger and Martha Mertz Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, a Visiting Professor at the War Studies Department at King’s College, London, and the Lehrman Institute Lecturer at the New York Historical Society. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and the Royal Historical Society and is an honorary Doctor of Humane Literature. Lord Roberts has written or edited over twenty books, including his recent book with General (Ret) David H. Petraeus “Conflict: The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Ukraine” and biographies on Napoleon Bonaparte and Winston Churchill, which have been translated into twenty-eight languages and he appears regularly on radio and television programs around the world.
