Help us bring debate to communities and classrooms across the nation.
DonateThe first presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump promises to be the most watched ever, with an audience that could exceed 100 million people. As America’s debate series, we are streaming the debate live here and hosting a viewing party to enable audiences to vote on the first presidential debate as they do with all of our debates. The debate will be divided into six segments of 15 minutes each. Each segment will start with a question from Lester Holt, the moderator, after which each candidate will have two minutes for an initial response and then will be allowed to respond to each other. The Commission on Presidential Debates has announced the tentative topics for the debate: “America’s direction,” “achieving prosperity,” and “securing America.” The topics are subject to change based on news developments, according to the commission.
