Allison Schrager
Allison Schrager is an American economist, author, and senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, where she studies tax and monetary policy. Schrager is a regular contributor to The Economist, Reuters, and Bloomberg Businessweek, and her work has been published in Wired, National Review, Playboy, and Foreign Affairs. She is also the author of “An Economist Walks into a Brothel.” In addition to her writing, she has consulted for organizations such as the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development and the International Monetary Fund and is co-founder of a risk advisory firm, LifeCycle Finance Partners, LLC. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University.
