Kadie Ward Philp

Kadie Ward is a seasoned executive whose career to date across public, private, and civil society organizations has designed and delivered inclusive economic growth strategies that engage traditionally marginalized populations and provide equal opportunities for all to participate in the labor market and ultimately contribute to the economic health of their community. She has worked with global legislators to establish programs to support women-led micro and small enterprises as well as women’s participation in the economy. Before joining Ontario’s Pay Equity Commission, she worked with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities to implement aspects of the Canadian government’s “Feminist International Assistance Policy” and founded Build Stronger Cities. She received a Queens’s Diamond Jubilee in recognition of her work contributing to significant economic improvement in various Canadian cities. Ward has an M.A. from Western University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg-Schulich School of Business conferred upon her by both York University and Northwestern University.
